Re: Speedbump's House

What kind of well set-ups do you deal with?  Do you dig/punch your wells?

Re: Speedbump's House

I probably haven't drilled more than 10 wells since I moved to Florida 30 years ago.  Until about a year ago, we would subcontract drilling out to other contractors then we would install the pumping equipment.  I have had a couple of very good drillers in the past, but in the last ten years, I have had nothing but problems and gave it up completely.  The good drillers mostly used Cable Tool Rigs which are rapidly going out of style.  The rigs used today are Rotaries.  Cable tool beat the casing into the ground and rotaries make a hole then just push the casing down.  After pushing the casing down, you are supposed to fill the annular space around the casing with cement, but I question how well that is done by some drillers.

Thanks Redwood, my own house.  That's cool.

Hey, how many different How-To's do you have?  Is there a way to do a search for a topic?

So that's where your hiding it.  I started going down through them then saw the 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9  etc at the bottom.  I thought maybe you had a count.
