You can buy quality seat risers from a medical supply house at a great buy.  They have them in round or elongated (oval) risers.  They usually contain long bolts so you can put a real seat on top of the riser and bolt them to the toilet.

If there is a medical reason for the ADA compliant toilet you may want to consider other alternatives depending on the situation.

Would I be off base by suggesting something like a motor starter and appropriate heater tabs to lessen the load.  The amp draw will go down to nothing if I am following you correctly.

Trying to find quality hoses for jetters.  Are 5000 psi continuous supposed to cost double the 4000 psi hoses?  I would also like to know what your thoughts are on repairing hoses.  It seems like being able to drop by any hydraulic shop is a plus.  Does anyone besides the Australians use quick connects?

lol, I meant on your pump jobs.  I have noticed they are moving towards electronic equipment that seem more susceptible to lightning strikes at a higher cost.

What are your thoughts on how technology seems to be changing?  Better?  More cost with little benefits?

I use them and the zip-it.  I leave the zip-it with them after they watch how I got the initial mess out.  Its about $3.  I found like you, it works and goes over well with the homeowner.

Would you consider buying one used?  What questions would you ask the seller if you could not see it?

Whatever gets the job done.  I have cheap Ridgid machines that have made me a bunch of money and a Spartan 1065 that is paid for itself over and over again.

Depends on the job.  Bradford White, PVI, Aerco.
